I just heard on the news that the Indiana BMV is going to start requiring 4 pieces of ID in order to obtain a driver’s license.

You will need a birth certificate, a Social Security Card or legal immigration ID, and 2 bank statements or utility bills in your name with your address to qualify. It was said that they are going to stop, just handing out Licenses to anyone who walks into the BMV?

Wow! What is a deal?

Is it Homeland Security?

Is it to curb illegal aliens from sneaky stuff?

WHATEVER?

Here is the real kicker to this news!

The BMV is going to give you a temporary ID. You have to wait 10 days before you get your real license (ID) in a “non-descript” piece of mail in your mailbox.

Stupid is as stupid does!

We give up our identity for a fake (temporary) one, in 10 days they send our (real) identity (driver’s license) in a “non-descript” envelope, where at least a hundred people have access to it before you do!

How in the world is the State (or anybody else) going to send 1000’s of anything in the mail and be “non-descript” about it?

Not only is our government too BIG! It is also way too STUPID!
